The Center for Renewal is a non-profit whose mission
is to empower Christ-centered ministries that transform lives by encouraging
effective compassion and by connecting resources to needs.
Our goals are to:
- Enhance capacity and competence in life-changing faith-based
organizations
- Educate compassionate leaders in giving wisely, and
connect them to social entrepreneurs on the front line of service
- Communicate the vision. Tell the success stories of
faith-based efforts in speeches, articles, radio and television broadcasts,
and on the internet.
This website is a resource for:
- Foundations, churches, business, and individuals
who want to give of their time, talent, and resources, to help organizations
that are transforming our inner-cities.
- Those who need to refer individuals to groups that
will not only help them with their current circumstances, but that
will focus on a life-changing transformation of their lives.
- Churches, and potential social entrepreneurs who want
to learn about effective organizations and their best practices.
- Policy makers, journalists, analysts, and others who
are interested in the revitalization of our inner cities, effective
social entrepreneurs, and the practical impact of welfare reform.
